CHEROKEE PARK

This charming, “West of the Trail, arbor lined, central and coastal community is home to one of the oldest neighborhoods in Sarasota. Home to many of the city’s most prominent residents of judges, city leaders, and entrepreneurs, this lovely, small neighborhood is also home to one of the city’s top elementary schools, Southside Elementary. Lots are oversized and arbored medians give the neighborhood natural shade and warmth.  Situated right at the water, with some homes on the canal, you are a brief moment to the Siesta Key Bridge (walk or ride your bike), downtown, shopping and dining galore.  Adjacent to this historic area is Southside Village, a short walk, with fine dining, shopping and events.  The Selby Gardens are right nearby as well.

Excellent public schools, proximity to several excellent private schools, central to dining and shopping, surrounded by athletic and cultural activities year round, Cherokee Park is one of the most sought after neighborhoods in all of Sarasota.
